Well, doesn’t the title say it all?! We have started updating the blog more and will continue to do so! Also, we have four more people on the Geek Tap team that will not only blog but, also help with shows, the forums, and much more!

Just head over the the blog for a good laugh!

Alright, all of us here at Geek Tap would like to announce our participation in the production of a rip off zombie movie that has been under wraps for awhile. The main people behind this movie are not part of Geek Tap but, are friends of ours who have the goods (Actual high quality cameras.) for making movies. We are currently developing a script/brainstorming for the movie. At this time there is no set length or set date for the movies release or completion.

However, we will be releasing a short teaser trailer this October.

Stay tuned for more information. We will be releasing it when we finalize more and more things.

Alright finally, the site is coming together! Redneck Story of the Week episode 008 will be out October 1, 2008, and GT Crap episode 002 (Now titled as GT Crap: Episode 001) will be released September 26, 2008 !

Along with that we have a few extras coming within October, we are finished writing MOST of this season of Redneck Story of the Week (Currently at 10 episodes for this season.) and will be releasing new episodes every first and third week of each month.

Also, GT Crap will has a new release schedule… every first week of each month a new episode will be released! This gives us time to collect stuff from an entire month and use it for the show… in other words it will actually have planning and this time we won’t forget the humor!

Next, the Fat Guy in the Kitchen “pilot” episode will finally be released at the end first of September December.

Lastly, because of more free time the blog will now be updated daily. So, when ever you have a chance, take a look at it during your daily routine!

EPISODE 008

Ok, it’s been way too long since we mentioned anything about Redneck Story of the Week well, we have chosen to make it a permanent show at Geek Tap! You can now expect new episodes every first and third week of each month!

Having said that, Redneck Story of the Week episode 008 will be released October 1, 2008 November 27, 2008! I’ll say one thing… it’s about “manpons”, tampons for men.

After all the stress and worry from starting college has passed we’re proud to announce that we have finished working on the second episode of GT Crap! It will be ready and up around 3PM EST on YouTube and Veoh and should be up for direct download soon after that.

UPDATE 09/23/2008: The episode will mainly revolve around me and Matt smashing fixing a computer. I’m happy to say, it turned out pretty funny. Also, for the most part, all I have left to do it is “pretty it up” and it will be up for download and on YouTube and Veoh on time!

UPDATE 11/25/2008: Due to my lazyness the episode will be released this Thursday! Think of it as an early Christmas present that had absolutly no money put into it! The video will also be labeled as the FIRST episode and the other is now labeled as a pilot. Also, the episode is still about Matt crushing the computer.

Ok, just to fill everyone in with our plans.

First up, Geek Tap is still alive and despite more delays than PlayStation® Home™… Heh, yeah we know it’s sad.

Lets get to the REAL news…

First with the bad…

Today we decided to put a hold on both Fat Guy in the Kitchen and Totally Tech. The reason behind this is that we want to put more time into shows like Redneck Story of the Week, GT Crap and Game SHOT. We WILL eventually pick the shows on hold back up but, it won’t happen until we have at least one episode out for ALL of the other shows.

Now for the good! 

Production for Redneck Story of the Week episode 8 is going well and SHOULD more than likely be released around 11PM tomorrow (Friday, July 18, 2008) 10PM Saturday, July 29, 2008  5PM Wednesday, October 1, 2008.

We are almost finished writing the first episode of Game SHOT and will be ready to film it next week nearing the end of September, 2008. You should be able to watch sometime near the beginning of October, 2008.

Ok, it’s been awhile but it’s time to give everyone an update on where we are with Geek Tap.

Unlike what you may think the past month hasn’t been spent doing absolutely nothing. We’ve been writing up ideas for the next season of Reneck Story of the Week, writing the script for the first episode of Game SHOT, and filming skits for the second episode of GT Crap.

Unfortunately the production of our shows had to come to a halt. Not only because… you guessed it our camera broke and had to be repaired but, my girlfriend ex-girlfriend was placed in the hospital (she’s ok now) and I went on vacation for spring break (check out the GT Blog for more).

In better news this coming Friday Friday, July 18, 2008 Wednesday, October 1, 2008 we will release episode 8 of Redneck Story of the Week which, is the first episode of season 2! Season 2 will also run for AT LEAST ten episodes. We also will be releasing Game SHOT episode 1 April 14, 2008 (Monday of this coming week.) sometime in July October, and if everything goes as planned will feature a hands on EXCLUSIVE look at PlayStation Home. Which is the PS3’s XBOX Live competitor. Along with all of that, you can expect the release of the long awaited GT Crap Episode 2: Old Gregg on September 25, 2008.

It’s the season finally of Redneck Story of the Week and we’d like to thank you for your continued watching of of our show.
